Charnwood Borough Council have granted outline planning permission for the development of 165 dwellings on a greenfield site at Anstey. Define provided a co-ordinated planning, masterplanning and landscape consultancy service to Bloor Homes.
The site lies within an Area of Particularly Attractive Countryside, and has an aspect to Bradgate Park. A carefully considered Masterplan was prepared to ensure that the development of the site will respond to its setting, reflect the local character, and be well integrated with its surroundings. Define worked proactively with the Council’s planning officers to highlight the merits of the proposed development and clearly demonstrate how potential constraints to development could be overcome.
Define are now assisting Bloor Homes in the preparation and submission of a reserved matters application for the approval of the detailed development scheme that will realise the vision for the site established in the outline planning permission.
