Define were appointed to secure planning permission for the relocation of this maintained Special School for 4 to 19 year olds, funded by Central Government under the Priority Schools Building Programme.  The site included existing dilapidated community buildings surrounded by newer residential development, posing specific design and access constraints.  We provided planning strategy advice, supported the consultation process, prepared supporting Planning Statements, and managed the application and negotiation process to secure planning permission.
