Define were instructed to re-visit a long standing planning permission and re-shape the scheme proposal into a comprehensive and deliverable Masterplan. The re-modelled masterplan focused on establishing an appropriate hierarchy of streets and spaces that respond to the natural assets of the site and its surroundings. We subsequently coordinated the preparation of a single reserved matters application for nearly 1,000 homes. Our scope of work included the preparation of design guidance, coordination of the detailed development design undertaken by the individual house builders, and the detailed design of the streets and extensive parkland. We also provided cogent planning advice in relation to the reserved matters submission, and variation of key conditions and the Section 106 Agreement to ensure the scheme’s viability.
