Brooklands College receives planning permission

We are delighted that the Brooklands College development in Weybridge, Surrey, has now formally received planning approval from Elmbridge Borough Council following the committee decision in December last year.

Define provided Landscape Design, LVIA and Green Belt Appraisal services to support a detailed planning application for Cala Homes and Brooklands College.

The new site entrance prioritises pedestrians over vehicles and creates a
new access for college students framed by the new housing proposals.

The Landscape Masterplan illustrates how the new residential site is
designed alongside the existing college site and surrounding
woodlands.

The application included a total of 320 new homes and the refurbishment of the listed Brooklands Mansion into apartments.  The application also included the consolidation and refurbishment of their campus to provide state-of-the-art facilities.

Connections through the site will provide opportunities for both the new
and surrounding communities to enjoy the parkland setting. CGI Image
