Mark is a Chartered Town Planner and qualified Urban Designer who specialises in the promotion of both regeneration sites and urban extensions through the planning process. His expertise encompasses site masterplanning, management of the Environmental Impact Assessment process, co-ordination of complex planning applications, and the negotiation of planning consents. He frequently manages multi-disciplinary teams on projects involving sensitive sites and/or complicated development proposals, leading negotiations with key stakeholders. His work has particularly focussed on the residential and mixed-use development sectors, but he also provides advice to education and health institutions in respect of estate strategy matters, and energy providers in respect of planning strategy and procedures. He has also acted as an expert witness at a wide variety of public inquiries.
