Rachel is a multidisciplinary practitioner, with 20 years of experience in Town Planning and all areas of Urban Design, including the management of significant applications from inception to completion, evolving scheme design, producing design and access statements and design codes, undertaking design reviews and feasibility assessments, and assessing the impact of development on landscape/townscape character. Rachel has played a key role in residential, regeneration and mixed use schemes of varying scales and contexts from large scale to more intimate smaller sites, and from urban brownfield conversion to making the best use of rural sites. She prides herself in a high design standard, with a keen eye for the historic environment, scheme appraisal and the design complexities of sensitive sites. Rachel has a robust working knowledge of effective stakeholder and community consultation methods and enjoys collaborative design.
