A Landscape-led Approach

The Masterplan establishes a landscape-led approach to creating a sense of identity and place within the development.  Green corridors based around the site’s stream and hedgerows define distinctive character areas and create an attractive setting for the new homes.  The permeable network of corridors provide active movement links into Hinckley and the surrounding countryside and are punctuated with focal spaces for socialising, sport and play to help ensure the health and well-being of the residents.   Naturalised areas of green space accommodate drainage features and landscaping and improve the biodiversity of the site.
