Patience is a virtue when planning for significant growth
Proving the location is the right one; accessible and deliverable. Recognising the opportunity through a good understanding of expectations and aspirations. Engaging with key stakeholders essential to its delivery. Conceptualising the aspiration through a masterplan to secure an allocation in the Local Plan through its logical promotion.
Our staff led the preparation and submission of an outline planning application, ensuring the masterplan evolved and responded to the specific characteristics of the site. This maximised the use of existing natural features to create a community that is clearly integrated with its surroundings.
A new neighbourhood
Once complete, Eden Park will create a new neighbourhood of around 1,300 homes, supported by new parkland and public open spaces, a new primary school and neighbourhood centre. Its location immediately adjacent to the M6 motorway, resulted in the quick delivery of employment uses across the 36 hectares of land that was an integral part of the masterplan. Three phases of residential development have already been completed across the site, with a further phase and primary school securing reserved matters approval in 2020.
