We are really delighted that planning permission has been granted for Burlish Bike Park, a 16-acre woodland cycling facility on the northern edge of Stourport-on-Severn, that is currently being transformed by Open Trail.
We were initially approached in 2021 by the landowner and long-standing client to provide some planning advice to Hannah at Open Trail and were taken by her enthusiasm and determination to get this project up and running. Given our experience of planning within sensitive landscapes (the site being within Green Belt), combined with Hannah’s determination to be hands-on, we decided the best help we could provide was to support Open Trail as a charity by offering our professional advice at no cost, helping Hannah to prepare the right information to support the application, and be a sounding board for any planning matters that arose through the process.
